Given Kevin's earlier post about "da bomb," there's an eerie kind of fear that a loss of satellite phone contact inspires in me. I know technology fails all of the time, but we're on such a razor's edge about when the bombing might start that I think it would be helpful if more was said than simply "the satellite phone failed..."

As I recall, this was reported by televisions networks when it happened.....tragic that there was zero refuge for these people.......

I hope you will also be reporting on all the Iraq deaths caused by American&British action.All the incidents of death from "friendly fire". All the cock~ups etc etc.....
