Opinions...yep I got some. Sadly I believe that the threats of WMDs were just a device to stir up public support , had I bought into it I would be feeling pretty darned *Used* about now. Burying my head in the sand...diverting attention to whatever I could.

Unfortunately the public has a short memory, I wish they could hold in their hearts the feelings of being misled long enough to vote for a new president.

My underlying thought at the time(as I watched our own ship off to war)...even though I heard that little voice that deep down was saying...."What if..." was that we had no business over there in the first place...not yet.

Donna, Marley thanks for your kind words, it is truley an honor to do what I do.

My oppionion about W.M.D. is just because they havent found them doesnt mean they dont exist they could be so hidden that even our best resources have yet too. War does suck though period for all people but becaue they are so against americans they are a threat as is osama min laden look what he was capable of and we knew politics is a trickey business. If it help by removing the evil leaders im sorry but a small part of me agrees. live and let live is great but its not realistic in a world such as this the news lets us know that everyday. peace is much better. We must love the wine because france and bush are talking and remember they didnt want to help but who can blame them but because Im an american we need all the back up we can get. Hello jylian marley heres a thought fm me take care til we talk again. Donna in ca.

hiding in the back ground...hope everyone is well...

Weapons of mass destruction?
Can't help feeling we have all be 'spun'...
we were told in the uk that saddam could launch these within 45 minutes warning, if that was the case they couldnt have been hiden that carefully otherwise they wouldnt be operational to use...
I hope that something can be found, anything really... any thing..
but i think that this war had more to do with politics and oil than with mass weapons....

Hey all!
Summer plans...hmmmmm. Lets see in july I go away to a secluded area in sonoma county, in the mountains and red woods with 100 other musicians and we play night and day for a week. (a guitar retreat) then I will take the kids camping every chance I get. In Sept. I will take my kids to a town about 150 miles from here for a 3 day music festival (camping again) where one of my all time favorite musicians will be playing (arlo guthrie).I already saw him in seattle earlier this year but i cant not go...hes soooo close. But as of now my kids are still in school , its a year round school, and I am still swamped getting all my yoga classes together, they are just flying out of the woodwork at me, its very cool.

Lance are you home yet? I missed you.

Marley, are you adjusting?

Donna, I went to college in San Diego, (and then stayed around for another eight years. I'm sure you will have a grand time.

hillarys book , havent read it myself yet, but plan to this summer.

Lance, first of all...welcome back. Thanks for your input, I have actually looked into the WBGF, it is similar to the one I attend out here but it (wbgf)does draw some bigger names. My retreat is also a camp with classes and workshops all week www.musiccamp.org I too have had some wonderful opportunities to play with the...almost biggies. Last year I took a class from from Wayne Henderson, who has traveled and played with Doc. Yes I do some flatpickin' In fact I'm working on a version of St. Annes Reel for the student concert this year. I too love the opportunity to break off in the smaller groups and play. This camp I go to also breaks off into smaller "jams" that will play specific types of songs.ie...beatles...the dead ...dylan...etc. etc. etc. this year I have been asked to have a "yoga workshop" (focusing on the areas most traumatized by sitting with your arm around a guitar for a week) I was honored to be given this opportunity.

I think I will give your festival another looksee for next year, perhaps traveling with a guitar wont be so burdensome then.

Welcome back, Lance. Hope you are soon feeling better.

I'm okay here. Trying to adjust to new routine. Have been working on updating my resume' and made two job applications but hope to have some time at home before I start serious jobsearch. The weather has been beautiful--very temperate for the Midwest.

I'm watching developments in Iraq and Israel with continued interest though I have become much less of a newsjunkie than I was during March and April! Looking back, I realize I was really obsessed!!!!
