Dear Sirs,

I would like to meet Kevin Sites by e-mail or
by telephone. Sorry, but it's urgent, cause of Kinderkom
in Merano, Italy (May 2003).

I wrote him and also to John Perres, but recently
without answer.

I thank you very much for your answer and look forward to
read soon.

                       MONICA D'ANTONIO,
                       MEDIASET NEWS

Thank for your help! Have a nice day!

Given the time constraints and news as entertainment values of present day news, you could practically count on your fingers and toes the regular reporters who are "gathering news from after-the-fact interviewing and document collection". Most news is done by reading or listening to the PR and write it up. Sometimes a phone call or two is undertaken to get a quote that isn't in the press release.

There are some news stories that have been done with more digging, but then there are some blogger's stories done with more digging too. The main difference at present is that one method requires the purchase of an expensive organization.

"They are shaped by the personal experience of the creator rather than gathering news from after-the-fact interviewing and document collection."

How soon our heroes are forgotten. Remember Hunter S Thompson? Widely accredited as the creator of gonzo journalism. This is not a new thing, the technology has just speeded up the mojo wire...

I'll admit, agonist.org has been an incredible source of minute by minute updates that are often a half hour ahead of any network, and often never even reported at all in this country!!

His theater sitemap is so good its almost treason-o-licious!
