Would it be too much to ask for "Smoke on the Water" ?

I haven't been there for a while, but I remember a few years ago there was a goup of people jamming with their ukulelies (what the heck is the plural form of ukulele ?) in Yoyogi park every weekend. It looks like it was just a pickup thing like the bongo people near Hachiko. You might want to check it out. Maybe it was only in summer though...

Huh might be around summer time, it's kind of out door yuke-it right now. Around what time of day did you see them?

Braddah Ian,
The hottest Uke(pronounced uuk, not with a y) player in Hawaii is Jake Shimabukuro. This boy rocks!
He comes to Japan once in awhile.

So many people I know play stringed instruments--banjo (my father-in-law) , dulcimer (two different friends), guitar (at least half a dozen), and now a ukelele! I'm envious. My fingers simply will not form chords. Good thing I can sing a little or I'd be left out at all those musical gatherings...

I doubt I ever made it there before noon, and everything seemd to clear out around dusk, so I would have to say the people are all out there with there ukeleli (I think this is the correct plural) in the afternoon.
