A bunch of the guys in Mayhem stayed with me in 1997. I had just left Carnivore and started Primal Scream (NYC.)

I love the black metal scene so much. Incidents like this are pure comedy genius. I hadn't even realized Mayhem was still around!

Mayhem is actually not a death metal band, but a black metal band. Among their fans are some satanists and church-burners. The most famous satanist in Norway, The Count, actually killed one of Mayhems band members some years ago. Another Mayhem bandmember killed himself with a shotgun not many years ago. Think their bandname is pretty accurate... :p
