Evolution on the Mac would be really nice, I can't find any integrated email and calendar client for the Mac, except Entourage that only work with Entourage or with the new "Project" stuff with Entourage 2004.

One mapi client on the mac would be nice, since some admins, myself included, are forced to use Exchange, which seems to have an imapd that lacks the stability of the mapi daemon. I don't know why this is, and since the imapd isn't a discreet executable, it can't easily be restarted without disrupting other services. Which means you end up with Outlook users getting mail just fine, and the macs, with only imap clients available, having to use open web access. This does not make life easy when you are an admin, it gives you ulcers.

There's nothing wrong with connecting to Exchange through IMAP. I do that every day at work, I use emacs nnimap reader (part of the gnus package), and am very happy. Actually I prefer it to using Outlook, which never seemed to filter mail correctly. Unless you really want equiavent experience to Outlook, just use IMAP.
