If you don't mind my asking -- What happened after your job interview at Curiousity Group? Nibble, no bite?

I wanted to be a fly girl and I once convinced the 2nd grade boy next door to eat a worm so he would get bigger muscles
it's now dawned on me why the neighborhood children were not allowed at my house anymore ;)

I had an obbession of letting pets go, esp. my big bro's. I would let his snakes go, hamsters, salamanders, even a tadpole once in a puddle outside my house. only one problem, I let most of the animals go *inside* the house and they would eventually die, under the couch, in the heating vent =0, etc.
hey I was trying to help!

I once ate a mothball--or tried to eat one--because it was on the floor and looked like a jelly bean. I also had a Pet Rock. But not the real kind. The kind you could get out of the 25 cent machine at the supermarket. I would talk to it and try to get it to do things. I also had a goldfish that I would take out of the bowl so I could pet it. I would also try to cut-deals with the local toy store to try and trade in my old super-hero action figures for Star Wars action figures. That didn't work, so I set up a "tag sale" in my room where friends could come in and buy stuff. That worked okay and thus I learned the value of buying/selling... At least thrif store stuff...

This isn't a favourite memory but in grade 3 I went the entire school year wearing only shorts and sweatpants because I decided I didn't like jeans. I don't why I stopped wearing jeans...but I did. It gets worse because my favourite pair of sweats were pink and I liked wearing them with my bright orange t-shirt. Yeah, I rocked.

I use to fall down with my hand on my forehead in the middle of a crowded room for attention.
And I used to hide under the circular clothing racks in department stores. My mom would have my name called over the store intercom.

I read (past tense). Everything. Cereal packets, medical journals my mum used to get, the newspaper, books about science (I was - and still am - really into all things scientific & technical), kids books, grown up books, you name it, I read it. I had some interesting nightmares at times! On top of that, I played football (you know, the round ball version we play over this side of the Pond) a lot, ran about lots with the kids from my street. Usual kids stuff. Favourite bit? Phew, tricky. It's all so vague these days... but I guess going camping, climbing, canoeing and stuff with the Scouts would rate up there. That and being part of a family while lots of my friends' were collapsing... hmm, I need a regression session :)

My favourite memories of childhood... hmmm, thats a tough one. I miss my utter disdain of authority. When I would get in trouble at school, I'd climb a tree until my mother would come and get me down and take me home. When I got in trouble at home (If I couldn't pin the blame on my brother), I would beg for mercy and swear never to do "whatever" again. That and the smells and taste of my mothers baking.
