Andersen Avenue is ONE WAY going UP the hill between the hours of 7:30-8:30 a.m. AND 2:30-3 p.m. to allow children to walk safely on this route.

Please drive SLOWLY -- UP Andersen and DOWN Mesa Street during these hours.

CALLING ALL commUNITY MUSICIANS!

Drama Club needs help creating music for our upcoming original production, "A Cacophony of Dramedy," scheduled for December. If you are interested and able to help form and/or back up a KID BAND, as well as create a variety of simple, unique songs and choreographed dances, please call Laura @ (3o3) 545-55o2 as soon as possible!

The kids are at it again with our annual FALL BAKE SALE next Saturday, October 11th from 12-2 p.m. during recycling near Jamestown Post Office! Donations of individually-wrapped items and/or whole cakes & pies will be gratefully accepted at the event. In addition to baked goods, various items made by our own Camp Jim kids will be on sale just in time for Halloween! We also hope to taste some fabulous delights made by our talented commUNITY BAKERS!! All proceeds benefit Camp Jimtown's expenses such as liability insurance, rent, licensing fees, staff training, etc.

Well, friends...in spite of a somewhat dreary day, our FALL BAKE SALE raked in $249.83 toward our after-school program expenses! The children and I send a heartfelt THANKS to EVERYONE who baked and/or bought at the sale, including our Camp Jim families and our special commUNITY BAKERS, Karen Auvinen, Karen DeVincenzo, Sally Hempy, Carl Armon, Catherine Davis, and Rainbow Schultz!

Stay tuned for our next Bake Sale coming soon on Valentine's Day, featuring human and pet goodies! As always, THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING our youth!

Drama Club invites you to our original production:

This show is based on the British sitcom, "Whose Line Is It Anyway" with lots of improvisation, surprises, music, audience interaction, and FUN completely made up by our kids and all taking place inside our homemade theater as a free gift to our commUNITY! Hope to see you there!

In true commUNITY fashion, Camp Jimtown presents homemade dog treats made by Jena Z. and the Camp Jim kids at our VALENTINE'S BAKE SALE this Saturday, February 14th from noon to 2 p.m. near Jamestown Post Office during recycling!

For 5 years now, this special sale features human AND pet goodies and we're proud to team up with the best *healthy* dog biscuit maker in the area! We'll also be selling roses, our famous homemade chocolate lollipops, and other delectable items to express your love!

We are pleased to report that our VALENTINE'S BAKE SALE raised a whoppin' $365.28 toward our program expenses, such as liability insurance, rent, licensing fees, activity supplies, etc. for next year!

THANK YOU to our commUNITY for supporting our mountain youth!!!!

And SPECIAL THANKS to the Camp Jim families and the record number of commUNITY bakers who graced our tastebuds with their fine goodies, including Barb Buell, Lulu, Catherine Davis, Karen DeVincenzo, Beth Brotherton, Jillian, Mike & Tana Matzuk, Jen Lucas, and Stephanie Carlson, as well as Carl Armon's efforts at attempting the gluten-free category!
