SANDER; Does anyone have a sander I might borrow? I've replaced part of my kitchen floor and it sits higher than the old worn floor. I need to sand the edges so we don't trip. Skip (303)447-9003

WANTED- PEOPLE WITH STONES!!!!
In 1935 Jamestown residents contributed rocks for the construction of the new Town Hall. You can be a part of history.
We need grey granite to complete the exterior of the Town Hall addition. Grey granite is native to the area and most of us have some in our yards. Specifically, we need Rocks with at least two dimensions that are at 6-7 inches, have one fairly flat surface and can be lifted by one human being.
You can drop your donations across from the Town Hall in Robs rockpile. No smooth river rocks and please do not take stones from the National Forest. Call me if you need any help or have questions. Or email me at byrneslen@hotmail.com for photos of suitable granite.

Chris,
My wife and I both commute in VWs (a bug and a golf). No problems getting up the canyon last year. In past years it has been necessary to park at the post office occasionally when the snow was too deep to get all the way to the house.

In spite of the rain, hail, and cold, and in true commUNITY fashion, our BAKE SALE raised a whoppin' $339.12 toward a SCHOLARSHIP FUND for families who need after-school childcare, were denied by CCCAP, and can't afford it on their own!!
THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU ALL WHO BAKED, BOUGHT, AND DONATED!!!
Special thanks to our beloved commUNITY BAKERS: Catherine Davis, Lulu, Karen A., Sally Hempy, and Beth Brotherton!
Extra special thanks to our precious Camp Jim FAMILY BAKERS: From Jamestown, the Bennink, Bartsch, Andaloro, and Graves families and from Gold Hill, the Kidder-Roberts, Steinmann, Lansky, and Inskeep-Davis families!
We are still accepting donations for this scholarship fund as all future FUNdraisers must go toward Camp Jim's rising program expenses. Please contact Laura @ (3o3) 545-55o2 or send your donation to:
Camp Jimtown P.O. Box 1 Jamestown, CO 80455

Tim and Java and I have just returned from a silent month-long meditation retreat in Crestone. Tim and I broke silence a few times but Java was very good! It was a good experience all around except for one thing: anyone have a medium-sized dog crate they're not using? Java decided it is easier to pee inside probably due to getting on in age. the vet in Crestone said (diabetes was ruled out so we're grateful about that). 303-449-7145. We've returned to bountiful vegies in Tyler's gardens in the back yard, plenty of lettuce and kale if you want to stop by.

Do you have any extra insulated coffee mugs ? Apparently there is a really short supply of these for the troops in Iraq and I am helping a friend gather a bunch up to ship there. If you have any extra (used or new) please let me know and I'll arrange a pick-up or you can drop them off at 538 Ranch Rd... Thanks
