Hello Jamestonians - As our holiday weekend is rapidly approaching I would like to ask that personell fire works be kept outside town limits it is quite bothersome for most pets, for those that are being walked or kept outside in the yard for the day or evening. I beleive the pets and owners alike would appreciate the thoughtfulness.

I would also like to suggest that everyone keep the pooches at home for the 4th they do not appreciate the holiday as we do. Leave a TV or Radio on for them and it will also be much cooler, the high for Sat could be around 90. I beleive the stress of finding a pet and the stress on the animal is not worth having them in the park for this particular day.

Always have your pets tagged, pets name, your name, and phone number.
We have already had some runners this year.

Thank You and look foward to seeing you all for the celebrations.

Final Wedding Update ... we think:

** We got pop up tents and cowboy boots -- thank you, thank you, thank you!

** Reminder about the Jack 'n Jill Shower at our house, Thursday the 2nd, 5:00 - 9:00pm. Come "Shower" with us! Your presence is the only present we want ... but the party is potluck-style, so please bring something delish to share!

** We are still hoping to borrow your potted plants and flowers to decorate the stage. Please bring them down anytime on Friday or Saturday morning before 11:30. Thanks!

** 12noon - The World's Goofiest Parade! Please join Joey in making this year's Marching Kazoo Band the biggest EVER!!!

** Wedding Ceremony at 12:45pm-ish! After the Parade, the lovely Katie Farmer will sing the National Anthem and then we'll get hitched!

** 1:15-ish - 2:15pm, we invite EVERYONE to join us for a Potluck Dessert Buffet -- cupcakes, cookie, fresh fruit, candy, anything you'd like to contribute!

Thanks for everyone's love and support! We are looking forward to creating beautiful memories with our commUNITY!!!

Lila ran away this morning when she became frightened by the fire crackers . She is a black and white Boarder Collie mix with black patches over her ears and eyes and a large black spot on her back. We live in the middle of Jamestown but she is familiar with all of the trails around this area. It is after dark now and we are very worried about her. If you spot her please call 303-541-9781.
Thank you, Bela, Martine and Emeshe

Eric Flink (et al):

BEST VET right here in Jimtown is Lisa Cass, who has office hours next to the Merc on Tuesdays (2-4 p.m., I think), as well as periodic wellness/vaccine clinics (next one is Saturday, July 11th @ 12-3 p.m.). She does house calls at extremely reasonable rates and comes highly recommended by me and several other pets around here. Call her at (3o3) 459-o313 or e-mail mountainvetATgmail.com

I lost my Husky up near Eldora last week. Komi is black and white with blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue harness and collar with many tags. She is 55lbs with a scar on her nose. Her FAVORITE trail is Ward St. If you see her please call me at 720-272-5318.
THANKS VERY MUCH
Maggie

CALLING ALL JAMmers and MUSICIANS!!!

Musically speaking, WE NEED HELP this Saturday, July 4th!!

1. Assistants needed to SET UP sound equipment at 9:30 a.m. in Big Park. Tom will take charge, but we'll need more helpers, hopefully including band members AND people running sound throughout the day. We need to be finished with this task by 11:30 a.m. so everyone can make the parade.

2. Assistants needed at the end of the night to CLEAN UP the stage (around 11 p.m. to 12 a.m.). Members of the last band, Catapult, have thankfully volunteered, but we need JAMmers to oversee the handling of JAM equipment. Tom and I will not be available for this task.

Please call Laura @ (3o3) 545-55o2 if you can help OR just show up at the designated times!

MANY THANKS from JVFD/EMS!

Brad,
As much as I'd love a 36" flat screen I'm not hurting in the TV department and I'm sure someone could use it more than I. That said, should it go unclaimed in a couple of days I'll gladly take it off your hands and put a 27" non-flat screen up for grabs.
