FOR SALE:
Brand new, not altered, beautiful La Sposa "Fina" wedding gown by Pronovias, COLECCIONES NOVIA 2009
AUTHENTIC - Tags still on!
Color: Soft White
A-line gown with drop waist

DON'T WORRY, THE WEDDING IS STILL ON -- NO NEGATIVE VIBES ON THE DRESS!

Size 18 based on La Sposa's 2008 size chart
~ Their size chart changed in April 2009, this dress was ordered in November 2008 thus it could be considered a plus size. Based on their new chart, this dress now measures between their size 12 and size 14 ~

Measurements: 41 3/4 (bust) x 34 (waist) x 44 3/4 (hips)
Double zipper with built in corset-like thing

Dress has a satin base layer with horsehair hem, organza-like netting overlay, three thin tulle petticoat layers and a very light liner. Multiple layers, but surprisingly very light weight. Great dress for any season. VERY EASY TO ALTER.

WHY?: I am selling this dress because I ordered it November '08, but have lost 20 pounds since then! I have a few different style options available to me now, so I choose a different dress.

I will happily email a picture of the dress. I don't want to post it, just in case Chris checks this QT.

Asking $1,000 but will accept a reasonable offer. I'll even accept payment via PayPal!

Call 3o3.459.o4o6 or email lulu@thewholesomegourmet.com

Please feel free to spread the word to any ladies you may know with impending nuptials! Thanks!

Wednesday, May 6th, 6:30-8:00pm
Hosted by Karen A

Bring poems you love or poems you wrote and
Listen. Share. Enjoy!

That Time of Year
by Philip Appleman

So April's here, with all these soggy showers,
Making us almost long for March again,
As every twiglet makes a play for flowers
And every hack for miles picks up a pen,
Girls all playing hankypank, not soccer,
The smell of oozing sap all over town,
Teenage boys completely off their rocker,
And rutting rabbits diddling farmer Brown.

We're in for it now, nothing to be done:
Loving's what we wanted, what we got.
At least we're going to have a little fun—
With any luck, we're going to have a lot.
Thirty days hath April: seize the day!
Don't trust to luck for darling buds in May.

People have been telling me there were two other snow plowers that helped during this past snowstorm. A huge thank you to Mark Mahlik, Leon Hill and Craig Brown!!!

Unfortunately, it sounds like the Bicycle Safety Bill may be a done deal. But it sure helps to have Sheriff Pelle go on record against it. Done deal or not, I still sent another email to the governor requesting that he NOT sign the bill until it's re-written to be more balanced:

http://www.colorado.gov/cs/Satellite/GovRitter/GOVR/1177024890452

And if the bill does get signed, then I'm going to make a point of calling in to the sheriff every bicycle-related infraction and potentially dangerous situation that I observe/experience as I drive the canyon. Maybe if we do that and there's an ongoing avalanche or calls/reports on record it will have some effect in the future.

Apparently, the bicycle narcissists have one heck of a strong lobby.

Hola. Is anyone going over in the Glenwood Springs area in the next few weeks who might be able to pick up a 200 lb. dirtbike for me and bring it back to Jamestown. My cousin has the scooter at the moment. I could contribute to your gas money fund to sweeten the deal. Let me know if you might be able to snag this marvelous piece of Spanish dirtbike memorabilia for me. My number is 303-443-9049. Leave a message if I am unable to answer. Gracias. Lynn Wilber

This morning at 7:30a I saw a large mountain lion ambling along the side of the road across from the Ansbaugh's house (1+ miles below Jimtown). It was not at all concerned about my car that was only a few yards away. As everyone says, a truly awesome sight!
I don't know if anyone in the Ansbaugh household reads this, so if anyone sees them, let them know to keep a close watch on their dogs.

Hi all neighbors. This Thursday at the Merc, The Dovekins are playing. They should be fun- "feel good music."
Rainbow is making Eggplant Rollatini- with or without meat sauce. It's yummy.
