The Space Inside: A Beginner's Approach to Improvisational Movement

Using the Body as the source of creativity and expression, this class will explore the potential of movement in an environment that fosters self-expression through kinesthetic experience. We will begin to cultivate an understanding of moving from inner impulse, listening to what the next movement will bring.

The development of individual presence and awareness of the dynamics of ensemble will be emphasized throughout the class.

No experience necessary, just a willingness to explore the unknown territories of the body. Wear comfortable clothes.

Sponsored by JAM - Jamestown Area Artists & Musicians. All proceeds go to JAM.
