Purchased new for $800 and used for 6 months. Asking $500. Located in Thomasboro, you provide transportation. Picture available.
Also, free: queen-size sleeper sofa and recliner. Usable, but look best with slipcovers on them. You provide muscle power and pick up.

Peggy - have you tried the Restore run by Habitat for Humanity or the Home Consignment store in Round Barn? They both have pictures online so you can browse their selection. If you don't want to purchase new, that would probably be your best options.
Happy Shopping!

Just to be clear- I am looking for a clean comfy sofa or two to buy for a basement family room used mostly by teens. They don't have to be free- I just don't want to go out and buy new furniture for this room. Thanks!

If anyone collects "box tops for education", or after seeing this would start collecting box tops.....I would be happy to take them off your hands to donate to my son's school. You can send them to me in G101. Thanks!

Guys and Dolls, Jr at the Virginia Theatre, Champaign, IL
The Champaign Park District Youth Theatre Presents the exuberant, irreverent and lighthearted 'Guys and Dolls Jr.' Friday and Saturday, November 12th - 13th, 2009 at the historic Virginia Theatre. Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, this Broadway classic introduces us to colorful characters who have become legends in the canon: Sarah Brown, the up right but uptight "mission doll," out to reform the evildoers of Times Square; Sky Masterson, the slick, high-rolling gambler who woos her on a bet and ends up falling in love; Adelaide, the nightclub performer whose chronic cold is brought on by the fact she's been engaged to the same man for 14 years; and Nathan Detroit, her devoted fiance, desperate as always to find a spot for his infamous floating crap game. Showtimes are at 7 pm each night with an additional show on Saturday at 2 pm. Tickets are $7 per person. Guys and Dolls Junior is the young performer's version of the Broadway classic! Don't miss this one!
The Virginia Theatre is located at 203 West Park Avenue in Champaign, IL. Tickets are available at the door or in advance at the Virginia Theatre. Please contact (217) 356-9063 (credit card only) or visit the historic Virginia Theatre web site.

American Legion Rider's Chili Benefit November 19th 4:30 p.m.-7:00p.m. Chili with all the Trimmings $5.00
All Proceeds go the the American Legacy Scholarship Fund
As an unfortunate consequence of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Americas war on terror, many children of our active-duty military personnel are now members of single-parent families. In most cases, this also means their chances to attend college have greatly diminished. Children of military personnel killed on active duty are entitled to receive money toward a college education. But its not enough. We are raising funds to ensure that higher education will be a reality for these families. Providing for the children our military personnel left behind is our civic duty. An education is a powerful way to show our thanks. That is why we have established the American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund. But we need your help.

Quick Start Yoga for Weight Loss with Suzanne Deason - $10
I purchased this DVD on Saturday at WalMart for about $12. I am getting back into Yoga practice, but this DVD is at too much of a beginner level for me.
I would consider this Gentle Yoga, and I recommend it for anyone interested in trying yoga or who is relatively new to yoga and wants to practice at home. The instructor does a great job at cueing the poses.
The DVD has a 30 minute workout (more like 25) and a 20 minute workout. There is also a 15 minute audio workout. The copyright date is 2007.
I have it here with me at Parkland, so let me know if you are interested. lhoppe@parkland.edu
