did you listen to NPR recently? they had story on the 'branding' of the upcoming (yes, it's coming, i'm sure of it) war. even the transitions between reports is now being call 'the swoosh' (i think Nike can sue over that).

now, i did read an article today (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,3-602210,00.html) about certain, hand picked journalists will be 'embedded' in the military. mostly American journalists - but others as well.

still, this probably won't affect the quality of the report - but still, they're getting closer to 'the action' than they were allowed in Desert Storm I.

...and i believe it's the same article that said if DSI was a video game, DS2 will be a reality show. heh - i like that.
