I remember the early Begin stuff. New one looks quite nice though. Nice work to the team for sure. | | |

Java would be another free option (in terms of build tools and run-time libraries). I've never tried thinbasic so I can't contrast the two.
Are you thinking of writing the functionality from scratch?

Been looking at thinbasic to try replicate trek75.. which was more of a multiplayer version of trek73.. if I ever get the code untangled that is.
It is a horrendous mess of goto's in and out of loops.. ack.
I think thinbasic will fit the bill though.. not looking for something that I have to pay for, and something that I would be putting open source later, after I get it where I want it.
Let me know if you think there are better options.
Thanks.

dosbox worked! Thanks.

Try using dosbox to run it?
Just a wild guess. Let us know.

Finally! My friends and I loved this game in High School. Found it on Wikipedia last night. But the dos window closes unexpectedly after a couple minutes of playing. I thought it was because I was getting killed and the program terminated, but last game I sustained very little damage and the dos window still closed. Doesn't look like any of the settings would fix this. Is there another version, or a solution to this?

Hey Warner!
You had space.g200 listing?!? Miss it..
eleggo@yahoo.ca is my email I use now. I remember the higher level ships had extended range sensors (Susan Calvin) and would pound you with torps and you'd not notice them.

Erroll need your email details
And I definitely dumped all those paper listing. Sorry :o(
Eliza, Biorythms, Trek, Oregon and G2000 (I think) All gone. All I remember is seeing Erroll die because whoever shot first always won. Get out those co-ordinates maps so you can figure out exactly where to shoot to get the maximum amount of damage

A lot of spam unrelated to Trek73.. mods not around? Been thinking of doing a recoding of it once again, for the pc, but can't decide on a language.. something basic that would support client/server and the multiplayer aspect of trek75 which is the main part where the two differ.

I used to go to school with Erroll. I think I have the orginal source kicking around somewhere on paper format unless I dumped it during the last move. Give me about a month to search
