I was unable to pull up Golan Levin's site, but did look at RE:MARK site. It's a great example of things to come. I'm predicting 3D HDTV in the next seven years, the big obstacle to overcome is how to isolate an image for each eye (the requirement for stereopsis). A look at lenticular printing will help solve this problem.
FYI: Lenticular printing is the cracker jack prize that appears to kick a ball or move when you look at it from different angles.
Slightly off the track, but having equal new technological advancement interest is
http://www.eink.com a digital paper which will also change things to come. Don't believe me? Watch Minority Report w/ Tom Cruise again.
