I'll second the Jansport Lap Station. It has served me well and can hold a buttload of gear. I've always gotten surprised reactions when I pull the laptop from the secret compartment. Downside: I got mine for over $100. Don't know if they're still that price (I sure hope they are!) However, I've lately become enamored of my TiBag. It looks much like the bag posted on the site, except it was designed for the TiPB. It holds everything I need and doesn't encourage me to fill it to excess like the Lap Station does, thereby reducing back stress. And, at $39.95 it is a scream of a deal! http://www.tibag.com/

I just have to plug my BoBL-BEE. It's definitely over $100, but I've found it worth it. It's got a hard shell, external hardpoints for attaching a cargonet and other bags and is quite spacious inside. I've blown the back out of a couple sub-$100 backpacks trying to carry my laptop and various pieces of kit around. Hardshell is the way to go for me. http://www.boblbee.com/ |
