we have a uk based collection facility for c.a sites and manufacturer returns of all forms of electrical and electronic appliances (excluding broken crt's and non r600 refrigeration) we then grade and export to our factory where all products are reworked for one of three routes compliant with the weee legislation. 1st reuse as it is most important criteria. 2nd component dismantle for reuse. 3rd componenet level recycle for comodity replace to market. we ship it all to africa where all the three ways are done but the environment agency are trying to stop us as they say we are shipping waste but we see it as shipping appliances into a third world country which cannot afford new goods we are going to be going into further recycling in the near future so that we do not dump any items at all in africa it will all be recycled and reused in various ways we are looking for support please help!!!!! our e-mail address is reclaimedappliances@yahoo.co.uk
