Why are PMs and Supervisors allowed to get away with abusing employees? Why is this issue not dealt with in congress? Why aren't there any undercover agents reviewing the hostile workplace that can prevent going postal?

MONKEYPOX- Were you rejected or did you turn down the EO?- I can't remember.
Had a festive last day yesterday, thanks to my gracious co-workers. I will miss them, but not the toxic workplace. Time to give my worn out feet and legs (from the wretched workroom floor) some pool therapy.
To Everyone- Good Vibes On Ya!

Linda Rae Our lives aren't even worth $200.00 to the USPS. Found this out when I handled an Express package, from NJ, with stamps, dropped in a collection box, last year. A co-worker noticed a fine white powder all over me & my area. The PO wouldn't let me detox. Had to wait around for over an hour for the PO inspectors. Finally let me go home to shower after about 4hrs. They refused to pay for me to go see a Dr.!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had to file a grievance for Dr. bill & Cipro prescription. They were told to follow proper procedure in future.

. April 1, 2003 to September 30, 2003 has passed. October 31, 2003 has passed. Whatever happened to:
Discussion between the APWU and the USPS has led to an agreement that the Postal Service will petition the Office of Personnel Management, no later than Feb. 2, 2003, for permission to offer retirement opportunities to all APWU-represented employees. This is a standard request, required by law, and the agreement will ensure that no group of employees will be excluded from the opportunity to request early retirement. This differs from the early out in 1992 when the Postal Service was able to exclude a substantial number of employees from applying. Further, this will provide an additional option for those adversely affected eligible employees identified for excessing from their installation. Federal law does not allow for a waiver of the penalties (e.g., 2 percent reduction for each year under the age of 55). The APWU is pursuing consideration of retirement incentives.
Maybe if the court and the arbitrator? Oh, well...ROTC (Retired On The Clock!) .
