Just discovered this Forum. Glad I did. This is addressed in particular to Hamish Macdonald concerning his message No. 4 on 01-25-2003. I was also born in Kasama in 1953 (17th July) and I recall the name Hamish Macdonald. My father was in NR from 1935 and was DC Kasama when I was born, then Mongu and then PC Broken Hill from 1959. Interested to hear from anyone who knew my parents and maybe remember my brother Alan (born Lusaka 1948) or myself.
I live in London.

Some years ago Alan Dock was working for the Worldbank in an educational role. Try adock@worldbank.org
Also some old information on the days at Kabulonga - Gilbert Rennie School magazines - can be downloaded from
http://homepage.mac.com/wallerc/grs/FileSharing59.html
The 1956 edition may be most relevant.
All the best,
Chris

Hi There

I am trying to reach Alan Dock or Murray Steele on behalf of my husband John Harris who was at Kabulonga in 1955(ish).
He has talked about his days at Kabulonga so often and wonders what happened to Alan Dock in particular.

John has serious heart disease and would be so delighted to say hi to anyone who remembered him. I would too though I never met any of his pals We have photos of him and various others including Hilary, Janet who's last names I don't know.

Please let me know if you have any contacts. We would be so grateful.

Many thanks

Patricia Harris
