I always preferred his cover of Chuck Jackson's soul masterpeice "Any Day Now." But then again I liked "Did I Shave My Legs For This" too, so what the hell do I know

In three days, when this song is STILL stuck in my head, and I'm chewing Excedrin Migraine like candy, I'll be thinking of you; and praying that you feel the same way.

Since, you know, everyone in Nashville knows a country star, I'll offer this:

This guy Jeremy with whom I was in a band for a while...his mom is/was Ronnie Milsap's personal secretary. She'd sift through mountains of cassettes fans would send in of themselves singing songs they'd written for Ronnie. Pretty amazing stuff of song-poem quality. I never would have figured he had so many fans who were that devoted.

"Smokey Mountain Rain just keeps on Falling, Keeps on calling your naaaaame"

Those are the songs that remind me of the backseat car rides with Momma.
