Just blast the bitches in The Sunday Times. It's not like they don't deserve it. And then I'm sure their marketing department will actually find out what went on. Palming off responsibility to a third party is not a defence. Doors has printed some absolutely awful rubbish in their time, your rant will be a shining beacon through some of that fog. "Utter Total Scaremongering Paedos Are Getting Your Children Let's Violate Their Privacy Survey" ring any bells?

I was that masked NTK subscriber. Or at least, I assume I was. Anyway, the guys from SPEWS say that 64.26.22.49 (www.maxroi.us) is or was associated with something called havocmarketing.com http://spews.org/html/S1097.html

There are links to a couple of PCW articles on there about the guy who runs the business, who is called Ryan Dong. havocmarketing no longer resolves, so it may well be that the RSPCA stuff doesn't have anything to do with this guy. Still, possibly interesting nonetheless.

I tried calling the number posted by rODbegbie - it rang but there was no answer. If anyone else wants to try, they can hide their number (and save money) by using a service such as www.freecalls.tk - dial 0870 794 6936 (or 0844 670 6936 for weekends) followed by the full international number (00 1-561-756-1405) at the voice prompt. Hope that helps!

Yet more "mainsleaze" from UK organisations who should know better. This time, the University of Liverpool has sent email advertising online degrees, using a spammer in Boca Raton (naturally) via servers in Panama.

Read it and weep. Please could you lovely folk from NTK and Teh Grauniad subject them to ritual public humilitation. Ta.

I got a spam today purporting to be from the World Wildlife Fund. I've just posted details to
news.admin.net-abuse.email under the title "WWF spam?". It came 'direct marketers' RB Express <http://www.rbexpress.org/>;.
