I went to Jean Rennie when it first opened (after Lusaka Girls' School - headmistress Miss Goring) I think the opening of JR was 1954. The headmistress was Miss Robertson. Elizabeth Anderson was
in my class - also Rosemary Fuller. Elizabeth had a sister Judith and their mother was a teacher at JR. My Nick name is Nola, because I was born on Xmas day - but at school I was known as Martha van Tonder. My best friend was Faith van Deventer (sister called Joy).
