"viewser" is good, you haven't heard the last of that. "Ingest" is used stupidly though.

Actually, 'bingo' is a general aviation term. A plane with Bingo fuel has enough to get back to base safely, but not much more.

I work with video servers on a daily basis. In fact, my specialty is in video capture. I work with encoders and MPEG streams and such.
And God Damn, I HATE the word ingest.
My servers CAPTURE video streams. They don't ingest them.
I mean, jeeze, what would video output be called then, "barfing?"

Amused by this sort of thing, try Dunn's book "Idiom Savant", which covers lotsa professions.
