After watching both of these videos, I really liked "A Seamless Integration of Technology" video. Having the kids do "hands on" work is so much better and much more effective than listening to them do work. Every child should learn how to use a computer, so they should be exposed to these things in their early years. I never got to really learn ona computer when i was in elementary school. All we would do was play games, but we did learn some math. I like how the teachers teach with it these days though.

I liked both videos. The seamless integration video, I think is what Howard Gardner wants schools to start to become like. Many children are learning by different ways at the same time. These kids are really advanced with their hands on learning for their age. When I was their age, I didn't know how to scan images and create little movies when I was their age. The educational world is evolving and computers are the wave of the future. We should take that and give the kids a headstart to knowing how to use these so as they get older it will be easier for them to learn and apply their knowledge of computers and the internet. I think using concept maps and slide shows helps all of the children because as you go over the slideshows or concept maps with them, tey can see it, and you tell them about it so they hear it. They can see how it all falls together. They can better understand stuff. I feel it is just like outlining in a book but more interactive with pictures and colors. Better than just copying something just out of the book. I feel that Gardner wants to see more of what is going on in the seamless video in the world. He wants there to be more education through hands on and everything..

    I enjoyed both videos very much. In "A Seamless Integration of Technology" I really liked the idea of having computers for the students when they need them. Having that open technology in the classrooms or in a computer lab near by is a great idea. If they need to work on an assignment that requires internet research, they have the resources to go about getting the assignment done, while in school. It is also good to see that they are all so comfortable with using the technology such as scanners and the internet. I hope that when I start teaching that I can incorporate technology into my class and have my students be as comfortable with it as those children in the video. I also want to be able to use concept maps to help my students brainstorm in a more effective way, in my opinion.
    I think that by using a "hands on" method, the students in any classroom would gain more of an understanding of the lesson being taught to them. Personally, I am a very visual person and I learn better when I get to be interactive with what I am being taught. I think that Garder's idea of the students being active is a wonderful idea. When the students can be "hands on" the information stays with them for a much longer amount of time. I also hope to be able to use this method in my classroom.

Computers in the classroom are a great idea. It gives children the opportunity and a head start in today's world where technology plays a major role. I like how kids respond well to computers nowadays. Even though computers are good in the classroom I don't think it shouldn't take away from quality teaching time. I think that every child should learn how to use a computer so they are ready for the future and prepared to deal with anything. In elementary school I never really got the chance to use computers or be around them much so I think it's a really good idea that these kids are being introduced to technology at such a young age.

  In the video "A Seamless Integration of Technology" it was really nice to see how teachers integrated technology into the schools and how kids can have them at their disposle anytime they wanted. I liked it when the principal said that they didnt have a technology lab because "you wouldnt have a pencil lab." I thought she made a good point there.
  In the next clip Howard Gardner on Multiple Intelligences I agreed with everythign this man was saying. I thought that his point about how kids learn different ways and that you can incorporate technology into the classrooms to meet their different needs.This is a great point; all kids learn different and technology can help the teacher to help the children learn. Another thing he brought up that was a good point was that the point of school is for kids to walk away and be able to apply this education on the outside world. So why not incorporate more technology in the classrooms? Thats a key thing these days when it comes to jobs and to life. I really thought that this man had a firm grip on how to run a classroom.

As Gardner points out, children learn in various ways and it's so important that we as educators facilitate each of those learning styles. And that's also why it's important that we incorporate computers and technology into our classrooms. I am a visual and kinesthetic learner and I know that had I the chance to work more with computers in school, I would have done a lot better and probably had a better time as well.

I thought that it was wonderful and extrodinary for the teacher to be able to integrate technology with their curriculum. I like the way the student have a different educational environment compared to the one I had as a child, although I did have some minor usage of technology in elementary school. I also agree with Howard Gardner theory of Multiple intelligence, because everyone does have an area of intelligent that they excel in. So with this idea in mind, teaching can be change to fit the student needs.

I think it is very important for students to learn computers at an early age. My dad learned computers and taught us as we grew up. I am able to download/install all the programs on my computer. With the growing technologies, it is important and necessary for our kids to continue learning so we can continue to improve. Very soon I think we are going to experience a technology boom. As the younger generations advance, they will bring new ideas and new plans that will cause our technologies to make a drastic jump.

I think in this day and age technology is a very important material that many people have grown accostomed to using. If all schools were able to have access to computers, etc. like shown in the video, kids would have a greater chance of learning how to use these tools in order to benefit their knowledge for the future. Hopefully, as time progresses, all teachers will understand the importance of bringing technology into their classroom.

   I think that Howard Garner had some important points he made in his interview. Some of the things he said hit me directly, and opened my eyes to see how much technology can and is needed to be used in today's classroom. One sentence that he said stood out to me the most was "Everything can be taught in more than one way." This seemed to not only apply to the idea of treating each child individually, but the way Howard brings it up as technology can be one solution to this. Through technology, along with traditional methods lessons and concepts can be taught in more than one way. Thus, every child will be able to experience various ways of learning. The school in the "Seamless Integration" video seems to use this concept of integrating technology into their classrooms and are gaining positive feedback. I hope to do the same when I someday become that educator. As for now I have already leanred that the simple programs like power-point and inspiration can be of assistance to my teaching. I know that there are many more programs like that out there, and hope to understand them and use them like I can with there others. If every teacher knew abotu these resources, and used them hopefully every child's ability will be reached. I honestly belive that Howard Gardner's statement will then come true for thru technology "anything can be taught in more than one way."

I think that both videos made a very important points. Technology is a very important part of our lives today and we must teach our future career holders how to use these new and efficient tools at a young age. Make them familiar with the different aspects of interacting technology with regular concepts of teaching. I think everyone should have some ability to interact with computers and technolog.

I agree with the Gardner guy because he made a very good point. Technology is very important and it should be incorporated into elementary curriculum. When i was in elementary school we didn't use computers very much and that might have an effect on the person i am today. i didn't learn how to really use a computer and do ceratin tasks with it unitl high school.

I think that the videos were great examples of how important technology is in the classroom. I grew up around computors and it is so convenient to be able to use them for many projects. I know people who can't use computors that well but have learned some (even in this class alone) and it has been so much better for them. Through my eyes technology is so important and makes life so much easier.

I tink that technology shoulld be incorporated into elementary curriculum. because i look at the difference between me and my younger brother he leqarned how to use the computer in elementary school and i learn in junior high and high school. He is so much better on the computer thani am because he has been using it for longer. i think tht it makes it a lot easier if yoou learn how to use technology when you are younger.
