PPO Chicago, we should check out the USPIS "Chiefs Message" board on the intranet. Promotions are typically posted there. I'll be away the next few days, but it is worth a look.

Se ya later.

From a reliable source. PPO Chicago, it seems the Union Rep promoted first name is Joe, now think of shrubery for your garden. Think of a low lying "bush." If you can't get that, then fill in the blank "Don't beat around the ___________."

See you "with gloves on" on the other site. Hope all is going well for you in this storm we are all experiencing.

March 5th - Opening of contract talks - and no one has anything to say?

Good luck to the EB. Use everything you can to get as much for us as possible.

All you naysayers out there - the time has come - won't be long until we know what we get - in the meantime support your union and the work they're doing.

Things have been just too quiet on here lately? There are several topics going on within the Postal Police doings. Why are we being silent? Why is the information not being shared abroad? Have they finally won? Have they divided us so much so, that we don't even debate or argue the matters and means to no ends? Are we stuck in the locker rooms, whispering to ourselves?

Can someone please advise what regulation requires large apartment complexes to have an outgoing box/receptacle for outgoing mail? Thanks.

I haven't ever heard of such a regulation. If there was one, it would be in the DMM, the POM, or the ASM.

Does the Insepction Service have two seperate divisions? IE the uniformed police officers and the inspectors. I've heard the uniformed officers are not required to have a four year degree. Is this true? I am a former police officer with five and a half years experience and now a letter carrier in South Florida. Looking to maybe get into postal police. Thank you in advance.

Postal Police hires from within, Pass the requried test and your put on a list. No 4 year degree for uniform officers some college required but OJT experince counts.
