Uh, I believe that AOL France would most likely be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Time Warner/AOL, which was an American company last time I checked.
And France has a PRIVACY OFFICE? Which agency in OUR government would defend us from privacy invasions these days?

And mingtoy, that would be the FTC, and the 50 state AGs offices. You may not like the level of protection provided, but you cannot deny that they perform similar tasks to a European "privacy office."

who cares. France could get invaded tomorrow by hordes of bloodthirsty militant islamics and why should any of us give a damn.
Why care about a country that has rolled over, lost, or given up every fight the world has presented to them. They are loathesome nation who are made and kept free by the blood and effort of people who are better than them.
