I never knew there was a web site for the choir! What a blessing the choir was for me. I treasured every rehersal, every song, every concert and every one I met through Pamoja-Ni. Thanks to Kevin Leysath for posting a song from fall '84 on facebook.

Hi Crystal. I too was very blessed by ministering in Pamojani through song. I graduated in 1992. I sang in the soprano section. Pamojani ministered to us as we ministered to others.

Let us know when Pamojani will be on the southeastern part of the US for a concert.

This to my love Neetu,

I think Love is the most misused, confused concept of our times.
Love is not "Getting". Love is "Giving".
When it is ONLY getting , wanting , demanding , dictating , it is lust not love.
Love is focussed on "giving" .
Giving time, attention, ears, empathy, encouragement.
Love is Freedom , not a jail .
True Love is giving , empowering and enabling.
It is that invisible thread which brings every thing to one focal point.

best,
kailash

God is truly good. I see that the blessings have not stopped. This site is very important. The choir was definitely a valued ministry for those of us at Cornell. I looked forward to our rehearsal because they were more than practice. It was Praise, Worship, and Thankgiving to our true and Living God. Many lives have been changed and many have accepted Christ through the vehicle of this ministry. I pray that more Alumni will reach out. I graduated in 1989. I was the business manager and promoter for the choir. KIT (cljackson920@yahoo.com

PEACE & BLESSINGS
PS: When is the Reunion?????

Hi, Pamojanites! I'm an alum of Pamoja Ni, but not of Cornell, being a townie. I was a member from about 1990 to about 2000, and now reside in Columbia, South Carolina. My address is calamity@sc.rr.com. I'm in two choirs down here, and will probably join more. Blessings on all of you dear young people. Love, Jill

Hello Fellow Pamojanites! I just wanted to let you know that although I graduated in 2003 you are not forgotten you all. With one year of grad school down and one year to go, I did not realize how much Pamoja-Ni insprired me through out my ruff journey at Cornell and how much I would miss you! Although no longer in your presence please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. To all the recent graduates-congrats and welcome to the club! To those still at Cornell- you can do it! Wishing you all the best in everything you!

Your Sister in Christ,
Kimberly

yo yo yo IM AN ALUMNA NOW!!!!!!!! God is indeed good and his mercy endureth forever. Lemme tell ya it may seem like things are dark now, but believe me when i say that God has a way of workin things out!

I just wanted to say that it has been a pleasure serving Pamoja-Ni Gospel Choir these 4 years. You all have been my family (even a little dysfunctional sometimes ;-)), and I love you deeply. My heart is with you all, and I pray that God will continue to use you to stir the hearts of men and women and compel them to come to Christ. This can only be accomplished through love, patience, dedication, and the Word of God. Lead humbly, follow sincerely, serve passionately, and love blindly.

I will be in touch!!

much love,

Divine Empowerment! I love it. I will not be able to attend the Fall 2003 concert (test), but I will begin praying now that God uses each and everyone you to do his will. It is so amazing how He can use a collective to serve his purpose. Pamoja-Ni: I've learned so much from you and it has stuck in my heart, my spirit, and my soul! I miss you and I'm gonna try my hardest to be there in the spring!
"Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice!"

Hello Pamoja-Ni,

I first of all want to say that I miss you all dearly. I thank God for giving me the chance to fellowship with you all and to establish some of the best friendships I have had in my entire life. I am so glad that I can call you my family, and I know that as God takes you higher in ministry and as you submit yourselves to Him, the outreach that you will have will extend farther than you can even imagine. Remember that all God said to do is to lift Him up, and He will do the drawing. I encourage all of you to always remember whose you are, no matter where you are or who you are with. By being a part of God's body, our light should be shining AT ALL TIMES! I promise that I won't preach to you, because I know you know this, but I want you to know that I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH (old and new members), and that I thank God for allowing Pamoja-Ni to be on Cornell's campus. It is a special ministry that I am proud to say that I am a part of (Yes, I still consider my self a Pamoja-Ni member and will be one for life!). You will continue to be in my prayers. May God Bless you and may you continue to be in HIS WILL! Love you

Shayla

ATTN ALUMNI: Below is a message from Regina Little-Durham '78.

"I am the Program Chair of the upcoming Cornell Black Alumni Association (CBAA)Reunion, that will be held in conjunction with the University's reunion the first weekend in June. As a part of that celebration we will have a Memorial breakfast on Sunday, June 8th. It would be great if Pamoja-Ni (as well as other alumni) would lift their voices and sing at the Memorial.

If you are interested in returning for the reunion and singing at the Memorial breakfast as a tribute to deceased alumni," please contact Regina asap at

regina.little-durham@lewin.com

Have a blessed day!

Praise the Lord Saints! I am so happy that you have stopped by. Please feel free to leave messages many and often (as I check this as frequently as my email). More updates to come soon to our new and improved website but some points for you:
*You can subscribe to the choir online calendar to keep up-to-date with our engagements and such.
*Officially, our 30th Anniversary Concert (last semester was the "celebration concert") will take place Saturday, May 3, at 7 o'clock pm in Anabel Taylor Hall's Auditorium (on the 3rd floor). We pray that you would join us...

That is all for now. Hope to see you soon.
Blessings...
