Hey, Ed. 36 was also my age when I met my wife. I consider it one of the best years of my life.

No need to be depressed. It's only age, after all....or something like that.

Hi Geoff,
Actually, in this case spendy meant spendy. Yes, the little AlBook is the cheapest of the G4 PowerBooks, but in this current economy anything that requires such an investment of time and money is a bit spendy. Still, it looks like it will be a great tool for me in the coming months and years!

Happy Birthday, I'm just spending time with my 12" PB also. it is a great machine, I do believe I will send it in to have the trackpad button repaired as it sticks when i click near the edges. other than that it's fantastic.

Happy birthday! I have to wonder, though, whether your use of the word "spendy" in the post was a misspelling of "speedy" or an intentional and clever pun!

Happy birthday and congrats for getting a PB12. I'm jealous of you getting one and for being a mere babe at 36. That was a hard birthday for me as there were then adults half my age! Well, that was a long time ago now and I think fondly of being so young.
Sigh...
