I can't help but ask, what did you say after his last remark. I think that I personally would have given him the silent punctuated middle finger. That way I wouldn't have to deal with talking through clenched teeth and tears. However, I must say that I'm glad you wait tables, as it's given me the chance to meet people that aren't just boring assholes.

don't sweat it too bad. at least you have a job. after I graduated, I didn't work for 13+ months. Not at all. God, I'm glad that's over with.

Ouch.......
But... let's remember! It's hard to find jobs right now because the economy is a stagnant cesspool, which is the fault of... of... of all those people over the age of thirty! With their... tenure. And their fancy chairs. And their IRA's and SUV's. They're holding us down. It's their fault, THEIR FAULT!
That's how I keep from blaming myself.
