Sitting in a strip club with a bunch of drunken and adolescent men who have hard ons, waving dollar bills in a frenzied like state, doesn't rev up my libido at all. It's kind of embarassing to me, to be honest about it.

Who are these men? Since only 13 percent of the population is single, the majority of them have to be married. I'd rather watch my wife or GF strip in the private confines of la casa.

At least I have a 50/50 chance of ending up with her in the sack after her clothes come off! :-)

I think there's a difference between going to a strip club/watching a stripper, and accepting/enjoying a "lap dance" or other contact. The former can just be a fun, let loose, non-PC night out. I would say the majority of the people who go to a strip club or are at a party with a stripper keep it on that level. The grinding pseudo-sexual lap dances do take it to a different level. I've had a lap dance (bought without my knowledge by friends), and I found it decidedly un-sexy. I don't get anything out of someone pretending to be in to me for the exact duration of a song.

They aren't paying her to pretend to like them. They pay her for her to rub her tits and ass all over them, and thats exactly what she gives them. Guys don't particularly care if she likes them, so long as she gives it up. :)

Sometimes you need to give in to your inner moron. Your watching professionals do their thing (or in this case, thang) where the patrons are 99% male - so it's kinda like a sports bar.

That said, I had a friend who went to a strip cub so often he knew the strippers by their real names. (and he wondered why he always had the prefix Dirty attatched to his name). The guy had issues.

edgeling: It am not passing judgement on the stripper or the stripee, I just hope any man of mine might not go if he was made aware of my feelings about it beforehand. But that isn't to say that stripping--the act, the art, the culture surrounding it, the psychology behind it--doesn't intrigue me. It is something I could never, never do, personally, as I've got none of the qualities a good stripper should possess. I am not at all confident, neither am I entirely comfortable with my body; it's just something I'm not suited for. But in fantasy I imagine what it must be like to be in that position, the power and sensuality one must feel, to have dozens of eyes all fixated on you and your moves meant entirely to seduce. That must be somewhat exhilerating.

pardon you: I completely concur. Really, I'd take no issue with my beloved watching gorgeous nude ladies perform erotic routines from a safe distance. Sure, I might get a little green, but it would be little different from viewing pornography--something I have no problem with. But I have seen those too-hot-for-tv tapes, I hear the talk...hell, I even went to one once, and the lap dances I witnessed crossed the line of simple admiration to touching and grinding. I wonder if these same men who slip some chick a twenty to feel the boobs that don't belong to his girlfriend, would be down with her having some buff guy's wang in her face. Thing is, girls I know just don't find random dick swinging before them that appealing, so it isn't an issue.

wait a minute..."stripee"=one being stripped, so since the stripper is stripping herself, she is both the stripper and the stripee, unless there's a new kind of strip club where you pay attractive women to remove your clothing, and then go home drunk and buck naked, thus making the customer the stripee... which if you ask me is kind of a niche market idea at best.

I've given myself a headache.
