Anyone going to the game this weekend? I have a buddy coming down with me that could use a ride down to BPT afterwards. He'd probably chip in for some gas or beer.

I was pretty shocked they beat Baylor so handily, although the final score was a tidy up the corpse deal. Too bad I couldn't watch the effing game on Tv.

When did Edsall start sound like Calhoun:
""They don't like to get hit. Quarterbacks don't like to get hit. Skill guys don't like to get hit. What we wanted to do was to turn it into a physical game. We wanted to turn it into a street fight. The more hits that you get on people and it shows on some of those fumbles. We didn't turn the ball over and we did what we needed to on special teams, defense and up front. We turned the game into a street fight.""

Branch plays like he is shot out of a cannon. He's damn good, and he even did a relatively nice job covering Antonio Gates.

TO couldn't hack it against Darius Butler...
From Boston Globe: On the plus side, Tully Banta-Cain had a pair of sacks, Bodden made a big, splattery hit on Josh Reed, and T.O. was a non-factor, even when rookie corner Darius Butler was singled up on him.
Hes been playing well all camp, (and during) OTAs, Bodden said of the second-round pick. Its not surprising to me that he knows what hes doing. He doesnt really play like a rookie.
Tyvon Branch also led the Raiders in Tackles yesterday with 9, 8 Solo.

I'm sure someone will see this before September 8th, but all the Wu fans, just about everyone here, pick up Only Built for Cuban Linx Pt. 2... sounds legit.

I agree with Greg. Everyone is on Facebook man. It's inevitable. You get a fan page there, it becomes your message board, and you can just link people to your stories on the blog. I know it's pretty cliche, but hey, that's baseball!!! You can't predict it!
