I guess I don't know how important zoom is for me. I thought about it but I couldn't come to a conclusion either way. Sort of moot now as I bought the s230 today.
I do appreciate your input though.

I adore my new camera. It's is teeniny and really light for something encased in stainless steel. The 2 megapixels seem to be plenty, though I have only ever viewed my photos on a monitor. One day maybe I am gonna invest in a high- quality photo printer, at which time I may also consder moving to greater than 2 megapixels.
The s230 is approx. $100 more than my model, but probably worth it if you need very crisp, professional-looking prints. If it is just for personal use, or merely web display, the s330 should be fine. Plus the s330 has a 3x optical zoom, as opposed to the s230's 2x, which is important if you plan to take many macro shots. Unless the extra megpixel compensates for that, which I doubt.
I bet that wasn't the least bit helpful.

The ironic thing is even if I do write something I'll do it on the last day at 11:45 pm with or without the extra two weeks. Sigh, such is my curse. Not that I don't appreciate the extra time. I'm all about appreciating the extra time. Extra time = incredibly appreciated by me. I dare say that no one here appreciates the extra time more than me. Well maybe Noob Saibot- but not by damn much!
Hey, out of curiousity how do you like your camera. I'm thinking of using my 10% off coupon at Best Buy and buying the Canon s230. Any opinions, good or bad, would be appreciated (but not as much as the extra time is appreciated of course).

Mega is quite right! I really want to enter, but I've been working and doing typical shit all week. The important thing is that I've been BRAINSTORMING.
Why don't I ever get e-mails asking me to shave some swollen cunts?

Friend, I think you may be right. I was thinking about why I hadn't gotten any responses yet and it occured to me that my lazy ass wouldn't have even started to think about writing a letter even if I really, really wanted to. Two weeks is too few. Double that makes it a month. Month sound like enough time, you apathetic assholes?
;)
I think I was in a hurry cause as much as I like email I never get any. In fact, this is all just a pathetic ploy to get some fucking mail from someone other than "COME SHAVE MY SWOLLEN CUNT x34thd67h."

You have to give some of us eternal procrastinators time to submit. I was going to add "Patience woman!" after that but I decided against it not wanting to offend inadvertently. Still, it is a virtue and all. Not that I'm trying to say anything....

No attachments? Curses! You've foiled my Masterplan. And I was almost done with them too. Aye caramba!

Oh no. Not at all. One sentence would suffice, so long as it's a gooder.

Is there like a minimum word count or something? I'd hate to be the only submittal and lose because I was one damn word short. I mean that should read "one of the many submittals"....<ahem>.

That Dong-resin fella is a smart cookie. How can I compete against the likes of him? I still want to enter if I have the dratted time. I'm developing a concept, I am, I really am!
Say, do you like the Smashing Pumpkins? They're a really good band, yes, they are.

Technically, it was a box. I don't know if that queers things.
Also, in answer to Noob Saibot's query, both go on for longer than she'd like, but the fans seem to enjoy `em all the same.

He got a prize bag. Singular.
And besides, he's ineligible to win for no other reason than that ifn' he wrote the best one it would still seem unfair. And besides, no mere mortal could rightly handle two prize bags in one short lifetime. If I remember correctly there was a miniature rubber 1950s monster woman. Hear that? Bikini wearin', half-bat monster woman!, I say.

*rubs hands*
I figure I'll wait until the day after you finish accepting submissions. That way I'll know the only reason I lost is because I was late. Then I can blame you for making the contest so short and secretly wish the real winner dead. Bwahahahahahahaha.
I should add that my lord and saviour Donger mentions that he has been at the receiving end of "bags" (plural) which means the deck is stacked against us anyway.
