Stuart, less has changed than you might think. Minus the marriage-minded questions, those all are standard issue. Maybe my face is just not the marrying type like yours is ;) And yes, always with the god damn natto question.

It seems I've been giving my lunches away quite freely. I'm not sure how I'd tell them to guess in Japanese....
Nan to omoimasu ka (that's in romajii 'cause Quicktopic won't support my hiragana/kanji apparently)?Does that work?

I have no objection to these questions, or the people who ask them. Ya know, it's thoughtless getting to know you bullshit. But that's what socialization is all about. You gotta start slow with basic questions. Build up a base before you can get to anything interesting. I just wish I had a better answers to give.

Random: I had thanksgiving dinner at the Farm Grill in Ginza (viking style)...FUUUUUUCK. SO GOOD. I made those mashed potatoes my woman, ugh, yum. I hadn't had really non-asian food in a long time, and certainly nothing so American. God damn, good.
