Britt, I realized I've plugged these guys before but if you dig the mighty Bill Withers, you'd love the Staple Singers. It has that same warm but funky quality and Pops and Mavis have the most incredible voices. "Uncloudy day" "Long Walk To DC" and "Wade In The Water" are especially good.
