Hope the police are looking into the "kevin"that gave the rides to the dead man here in town.He evidently lives close to the shooter. Why would "kevin" bring the man to Littlestown when the man lives in Westminster?Just thinking out loud.

Seriously all of you who judge Sensations and anything that you "think" may pertain to the club, are just ignorant and I use that word in the sense of "not knowing" We have right to be in this town just as much as you! And we've been here how long? So take the hint we aren't going anywhere!

If anyone has lost or knows someone who has lost a small, white, appears to be a mixed poodle or bichon puppy with a red collar, please post a reply. My daughter found it wandering and acting lost in Meadowview Estates.

As the debate continues regarding this book, albeit very well written, it simply comes down to parental choice. All opinions are appreciated - that is what makes this America. The problem exists when the school system decides when and if a child should be exposed to such sexually explicit material without parents' knowledge. Its a parents choice - not the schools.
As a sidenote - there have been several postings supporting the use of Kaffir Boy on this site. I just wanted to say that I have been contacted personally by many parents that were shocked by the content. Also it is my understanding that other parents have complained and a petition was signed to remove the book from the curriculum.

I have read this book (adult, age 51) and found it to be extremely well written. The book should be intended for ages 16 and above as it is an eye opener into what other children outside the US have to endure. I understand that some parents may want to protect their children from thinking how bad the World can really be, but wake-up. It's real and your children (16 and above) should be aware so it won't be tolerated. If we all close our eyes and turn the other way, there will never be change. A school is a learning environment and I believe this book is appropriate for the age level I reflected above. Is it because the story deals with a poor black child that individuals in this area feel it's not appropriate? I wonder....

Dear Littlestown Cynic, I laugh at your comment. I am not controlled by parents or anything. I laugh at people who are trying to dictate childrens lives for their insane reasoning. Try to make my comments look grammitically incorrect and quick typing, but altogether thats all there is to critcize. I stood against my family in court, I stand up to parents that try to force upon their direct opinions. I will let you beleive what you think. " I'm jsut a denior" But in reality people can overcome the simple minded adults and reject authority to distinguish what is rebellion and what is the extinguishing of corruption.
