Yes but you should be able to circumvent this by using iSmell(TM).

I'm not too worried about the implications or even the practical potential of this, considering that as far as I know we can't even develop a machine to locate the source of gas odor (to say that there is gas odor, yes, but not to locate where it's coming from with any accuracy).

The way they write it sounds so doable, but it's not something we've ever been very good at at all.

I think we'd be better off with a research project designed to communicate better with dogs....
