Nah - I just assumed that since nobody would like my blog that I could only get the booty in return for a little of the booty if ya take my meaning.
Didn't Winer get an iPod or something recently? Somehow I doubt that's because everyone thought he was hot. Although ... maybe... (?) The internet is great at bringing fetishists and the objects of their obsessions together.

Well, on of my readers once (unsolicited) sent me beer and potato chips. But he's a guy, so I hope he dosen't think I'm "hot."
Althought, if some poor bewildered soul does think I'm "hot" , if you're male, send money, If you're female send naked butt photos.

I don't think you should be embarrassed or offended that people think (rightly) that people sent you gifts because you're 'hot.' If you've got it, why not work it? Everybody else does.

I wouldn't. But, then, I'm not hot.

Should I take offense that you folks think readers bought me gifts because I'm "hot," (ha!) and not because they genuinely like my blog?

Funny. I had the same bikini shaver on my wish list, and no one has bothered to pick it up for *me.*

Amazon Wish Lists
Name - you have to show a nick name. this can be anything. You can keep the actual name private.
E-mail address - you have to choose between viewable by everyone on my about you area (fully public) or viewable by Amazon Friends (you choose who this is) and will allow your wish list to be surfaced when someone searches for it using your e-mail address.
Address - This is generally hidden to the public (they may see city and state).
But yeah, I might have to put a picture of a hot girl on my site and change my amazon nick name so people send me stuff.

I don't think so. Perhaps you could create a new Amazon account and just have a real address listed; everything else fake. Not sure.

i've always been really anti-amazon wish lists, as i thought, 'if someone wants to buy me something they should figure out what i'd like', and then i woke up in the middle of the night and thought, 'but my website is anonymous, and no one knows my address, so no one can buy me anything'. are amazon wish-lists anonymousable?
(i hope that i just invented that word.)

Sorry to embarrass. It's just you should be properly thanked for your kindness.
I'm very appreciative.
