Hanging, can't let you go early if the CCA retention rate nationwide is as pitiful as at your p.o.

Our office too. They hire CCA's but can't keep up with injuries and retirements! Hired 8 CCA's, 5 have stayed so far, 2 quit, and 1 was let go. Supposed to get a few more, but we've got about 4 people out on injuries/surgeries, 2 retired in Jan. and 2 more retire in a few weeks. A few more are looking at being out by later this year. 1 became a 204-b, 1 more is "considering" becoming a 204-b, 1 transferred out, 1 transferred in. It's a circus! We are still being mandated to carry splits most days, but today the mail was so light, some got splits, and some went home early on A/L or LWOP! Nothing makes sense, every day we go in not knowing what kind of day we face. We NEED more CCA's and fast! Will they ever let the old-timers go?

Went to a bar gathering for a guy that turned 60 on Sunday after having his last day on
Saturday. Ran out of cards for the woman that does retirement paperwork.. It looks even
worse for our office than I originally thought. They are going to need to hire about 6
more CCA's if they want to keep up with the exodus in our office and that isn't even with
the possibility of an incentive being offered.. Add another two if that happens. We can't
get these guys in the office fast enough..

Anyone waiting for 10k incentive, be prepared, it is 10k before taxes and maybe 6k after, wow can;t wait, someone got one already, cleaned it out on taxes, wow!, so PO gave you 10k , similar to terminal check. CCR class by itself!

ElRon /m46486 -- am a Creedence fan, so I like that version, but I agree that Marvin's is the best. Smokey Robinson actually recorded it before Marvin, but it was not released at that time. It is a faster version (it is one YouTube).

Marvin first, but Gladys was pretty good too.

/m46484: well, as always I will probably insult someone's "taste", but anyone other that Marvin Gaye was just a copycat. Please. And if you would like to hear the REAL "Black Betty" thing, instead of some horrifyingly bad white kids, goo-goo Huddie "Leadbelly" Ledbetter' version. He wrote and sang "Midnight Special" and "Irene, Goodnight". Check it out.

Ok, ok forget I heard, I saw it on a paper a long while ago. Besides I don't want to "hear" anymore from the upper management. Egark you might be right on what you may hear too!

Well, I certainly passed on a bogus rumor that maybe April an early announcement for carriers might happen. If August 5 day would have happened, then there could have been a four month notice in April for carriers.

RIKSNY - hilarious.
