Movie previews that begin with "In a world..." Eating the peas out of the vegetable soup first Big, thick socks Being in a school when no one else is there Reading someone else's shopping list Christmas anticipation Bloody Marys When you quote a random movie line and someone else says the next line and then you just go back and forth through the whole dialog Jerky Mustards of all kinds Lancing blisters Putting dots of Elmer's glue on your skin, letting it dry and then lancing it like blisters Putting Elmer's glue on your skin, letting it dry and then peeling it off Peeling off dead skin Those shows that are nothing but cops chasing people on the highway (but only when they crash at the end) Mississippi, because it doesn't even TRY anymore

Vegging out with such complacency you're convinced even heroin wouldn't feel any better than you do in that moment

Ummm...
Coffee. 40's of Icehouse. Girls' tummies. Autumn's leaves. A dachsund named Godzilla romping in Autumn's leaves. Bits of the plot that are in the book, but NOT in the movie. Deluding myself. Hitting things with an aluminum baseball bat. The fucking MOON, yo! Clouds around the fucking Moon. That area behind the dumpsters at Windsong 16 where you can get loaded before the movie. The gulleys behind the aforementioned area where you can fling your empty bottles and hear them splash. Escapism. Harry Potter. Tolkien. C.S Lewis. Scanners! Not the kind where the guy's head blows up, but the kind that scan drawings. Clouds. Winter. Shiny objects. People who are younger than i and smarter than i. Self-pitying angst. Wistful memories. ..and.... ...uh.... did i already say 40's of Icehouse?

I would have to totally disagree with you on the eyelid popping thing, probably because I am emotionally scarred from it.

I like:
the Green Party music where you can understand the lyrics how my kitty cat (Chelsea)purrs when I hold it like an infant the early morning sunshine peeking through my blinds and waking me Xmas day and spending time with relatives I don't see very often singing along with the music I play in my car the sound of my keyboard when I'm in that typing "zone" a sincere smile and a sincere thank you from any store cashier the smell of my yoga instructors perspiration at the end of a session, when she is massaging my shoulders for a few seconds dancing to the song, What I Like About You, by The Romantics reading The Observer (online) Fall Foliage making grilled cheese the last 3 or 4 pops of microwave popcorn Turner Classic Movies the pitch dark the very hot and pulsating water hitting my back in the shower the sounds of brushing my teeth and gums watching the Three Stooges or Marx Brothers after smoking a J
