I swear by the ginger tea as well...the boiled version with honey and lemon for taste. However, my mom would also give me basil (Tulsi in India) tea as a remedy for cough & colds.

I'm sure you can search using keywords "tulsi tea" for numerous other Indian recipes if you like. Or, you could just look up the closest Ayurvedic shop and purchase some natural remedies.

Oh yeah, if you choose to make the tea, do not use an aluminum pot to boil your tea.
