ok, here's the plan;

1. take lotsa lotsa vitamin C and echinacea, preferably echinacea combined w/ garlic in a pill... there's a brand i use me mum got me from the local co-op where she works but i forget what it's called...
2. SLEEP/lie down like mad, nothin' will make your body but rest.
3. drink hydrating liquids, especially things like grape and orange juice and low or no-caffeine tea (like herbal and green teas)
4. walk around the house in yr pyjamas or the most comfortable clothes you have
5. if it's completely unbearable feeling no matter how much medicine you take and you can't sleep, watch television - the artificial "cure" for every evil in society... when I had an ear infection a few years ago it seriously helped.
6. make sure you have lotsa tissues and cough drops on hand
7. take medicine along with food to prevent stomach aches
8. i forgot to mention ginger - ginger is good for stomach aches incase you get one along w/ yr cold, i tend to get them when i take more than one dose of ibprophen in a day...
9. go see a doctor if it isn't getting better after a while
10. keep the halloween candy to yrself under the conviction "i can't make the kiddies all sick" - (all the more for you later when you're feelin' cool and good again.)

hope this helps.
