My Aunt Jeanne is great! And she gives awesome hugs.

Be careful on Highway 9 - I lived in Boulder Creek, Ben Lomond and Felton for a couple years and saw huge amounts of accidents. Several, in fact, right in front of Jeanne's Gymnastics.

Take care.

Glad to see you went to Ciao Bella - my favorite italian restaurant in the world. I'm in Seattle now and the closest thing to Ciao Bella is Bizarro in Fremont. Pale shadow at best.

I'm sorry about your whiplash, Bonnie, but glad it's not worse. I hope you feel better soon!

I was hit by a car last December, coming out of a store. The car driver lost control of his car, and it went up over the curb and into my leg. Thankfully it didn't break; I was just very bruised, sore and shocked. A woman who saw it happen sat down with me and stayed with me the whole time I was waiting for the ambulance to come. She was incredibly comforting. Turns out, she's a caretaker by profession. She called me the next day at work to see how I was, and I begged her for her address. I sent her a Christmas card last year, and fully intend to send one every year until the cows come home. A small act of kindness like that isn't small to the recipient at all. And, in a world where so many scary, unexpected things can happen, it's comforting to know you can count on strangers to hold your hand and let you know you're not alone. God bless you!

I was in a freak car accident about a year ago...

I was driving down the street, and I saw a truck drive another car off the side of the road, so I pulled over to use my cell phone and call the police. A few seconds later, the truck turned around and hit three cars at a stop light, and then turned again and hit me while I was parked. I had a huge emotional outburst, but somehow managed to resist the urge to kick his ass. Later I found out that he had a suspended license and no car insurance or registration. Suprise, suprise.

I'm really sorry that happened to you! I hope you're okay!

I'm really glad you're ok! I'm also glad there are kind strangers where you are. Soak in the bath and take it easy.

I hope you're doing alright, Bonnie! Yes, chiropractors are the way to go.

holy shit! jim is right...things can get out of whack really easily from car accidents. i'd go see a chiropractor or something...once the soreness goes away.

Hope you're doing alright. Take it very easy and watch yourself closely over the next couple weeks and months. Sometimes the full after effects of accidents on your body don't start showing up until well after the accident happened. If you're experiencing anything unusual later like ringing in your ears (often a sign of whiplash) make sure to get checked out.

I hope you are okay! Take care of your back and neck - after a car wreck it might take a few days for the shock to wear off and the pain to begin. I'm sorry!!

I;m still pretty shaken up by the whole thing. I hope this doesn't freak me out too much where I don't want to drive again. :(
