I'd just like to say its excellent to see league reports appearing again. It's something the Ipswich league has been missing for the past few seasons and its great to see them start again. Well Done to whoever is organising them!

Jim, I have 3 x Friendship 729 rubbers 2 x 2.0mm sponge and 1 x 1.5mm they are brand new, still in their packaging. I've also got a couple of second hand ones, would they be any good to you?

I'm looking for a few old rubbers to put on some old bats we have at work, if anyone has a few spare old rubbers, I will be at Suffolk Championship on Sunday.

Andy please can you confirm the county weekend is 24th and 25th October, i have entered Jake in the Newcastle gp that weekend and according to etta there should be no clashes and that county matches should be played the weekend before. Is this because you all had to agree on a weekend? thanks Dawn.

                      A couple of things

I have received news of the Senior county weekend, it is the 24th and 25th of October and will take place at the same venue as last year in Northants.


Also just another reminder of the Senior County Closed Championships taking place at Stowupland high school on Sunday the 4th of October.

I could really do with some help setting up, taking down and the running of the event on the day, unfortunetely my help from last year Geoff Brook and Dawn Harvey are not available, I will not be able to do this on my own so any volunteers will be warmly greeted.
