Who publishes this poo? Why are people seemingly afraid to express a truly intelligent insight?

Does all this seem to be more of the same spew.. Where are the new insights? Same old theories wrapped up in new language.. boring.

So God is like this computer, and our reality is like this emulation program running within an emulation program running within this cosmic computer. Dood! This takes me back to college when we sat around the hookah and pseudo-philosophized about the universe and the wonder of it all.

There was an article on a similar topic in New Scientist (www.newscientist.com) recently. The conclusion, if I remember correctly, was that simulation of the entire universe would require more energy than existed in the universe.
