"The destruction experienced by your colleagues in other air defense locations is a response to your continuing aggression," the fliers written in Arabic read. "No tracking or firing on these aircraft will be tolerated. You could be next," an English-language translation released by defense officials said. |

it's plausible and not particularly surprising that pamphlets such as these would be distributed given that US and British forces have been bombing Iraqi radar and missile facilities in and around the no-fly zone pretty much every day since the last months of the Clinton administration. it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the latest threat of hostilities.
