Yea, Portland mass transit is really not-so-mass transit. In Tokyo normal people take the train or subway (this definition of normal includes drunk people). But in Portland, the car is #1. Train passengers deviate from the norm. They're more likely to be hella-weird -- no offense. Portland trains (I guess we call it 'light rail') are a lot scarier.
