Welcome, Ralph. There is a $50 posting fee. Get with me about the details.

;)

Pink is worse than bad. Not as bad as Avril, but pretty vile. Her songs come on and I lunge for my dial. Tell us Edgeling, what is there to like?

Well, my little chicakadees.....

1.) Pink IS a pretty face. She's crazy beautiful, in a wonderfully unconventional way. Mr. Ralph, you must be one of those guys who thinks that Heather Locklear or Claudia Schiffer are the paragons of beauty. Expand your fucking mind!

2.) Vocally, Pink IS talented. Hell, she was recruited by Babyface and L.A. Reid to record her first album because she was a good voice that could sing other peoples' songs... she's a fucking effortless soprano! She can hit notes that Britney Spears can only dream of!

3.) Her songs ROCK!!!! Well, i like them, anyway.... To enjoy them, you just have to EMBRACE the corny over-the-topness. Just like Freddie Mercury! Being corny and over-the-top is an art that the subtle cannot comprehend...

So in conclusion....

PINK RULES!!!

Don't give in to the artsy-fartsy mentality of slyly dissing anything energetic and simplistic.

Simplistic energy is what life is made of.

And remember..... we are all Pink on the Inside!

I love the phrase "dumbing down of america"

Dude. We still call them "Indians". Because we thought they were.
Greatest nation on earth? Sure. Smart to begin with? Not so much.

Brittney, i appreciate the warm welcome, and i do agree with you on the avril comment as well. I just don't understand the popularity these two ladies possess!

Edgeling, i honestly don't want to come across like i'm completely bashing the hell out of you, because i don't even know you. BUT, your commentary on pink is painting quite the nasty picture of your musical taste. To each his own, but come on man!

I think Ralph was speaking broadly.
No one called anyone a moron, you ass.

yes, I'm an ass.

I was smirking when I wrote it, and I hate that emoticon bullshit (although it was a pretty good MeTa impression I thought- hence the fake name... ah well I give.).

May I officially say: my bad-- shit I've been called out by dong. I will now go and hide.

I meant "you ass" in the ironic, " here's me doing what I'm accusing you of doing sense", but I don't think it flew well.

Come to think of it, avoiding these sorts of misconceptions is why emoticons were invented in the first place.

What's important is the fact that I laugh so hard every time I see Mongo punch out the horse that I wet `em a tiny bit.

I'll have to tell you about my trip to Mongo, Indiana some time.

Who would have thought a post about a jennifer love-hewitt song would have gone this far???

Yeah, really!

Don't worry, Mr. Ralph. I have a good number of CD's in my collection that, if presented to the Czars of Coolness, would be greeted by the nodding of heads and the stroking of beards in approval...

You know. Sigur Ros. Radiohead. Single Cell Orchestra. Air. Bjork..... good stuff!

But i vehemently stand by, and righteously practice my right to enjoy that which the Czars label "stupid crap!"

If you ask me, if everything you like is deemed hep by the current gatekeepers of Coolness -- there must be something VERY wrong with you.

Surely YOU like something that I would laugh at.

I happen to know the coolest person in the galaxy -- and she proudly flaunts her like of Hanson.

"Look! I have Hanson! Let's Mmmmbop!"

Ummmm..... sorry, Britt. I didn't mean you.

You're the SECOND coolest person I know.

But that's not bad, is it?
