The post fails to mention one feature of the license: it is a
copyleft license, making authors of derivative texts to use the same license in their works. I believe this is what critics of the GPL call its "viral" nature. Pepe Cervera, leader of the 20minutos.es project and promotor of the license, has an explanation (in spanish) of the
rationale behind this license in Spanish Slashdot-alike barrapunto.
