I'm extremely old (in my FORTIES - I don't understand how that happened), and when I was a kid (during the swinging 60s) I lived in London. I was lucky enough to see a children's-show precursor to Monty Python called "Do Not Adjust Your Set" which involved (I seem to remember) Terry Jones, Michael Palin and Eric Idle. I ADORED it.

Doctor Who, definitely. Followed by The Prisoner. And Blackadder. I also like The Avengers (speaking of hot people in leather--Diana Rigg, rrowwwrr!), Monty Python (natch), Absolutely Fabulous (again, natch), The Young Ones, Danger Man, & I seem to remember Only Fools & Horses & Good Neighbours being quite amusing. I also have love Fry & Laurie, French & Saunders, Smith & Jones, & Lenny Henry. Oh, & Ben Elton is hilarious, too.

I'm sort of a fan of quite a bit of British TV, obviously.

Josh! Joshua,[Sofaer] Changing Rooms is EVERYTHING I thought it would be. BBC has decent news. At least it's not all packaged for consumption as is the US news shows. I'd rather read the Guardian than any US rag

I make a special effort to watch Changing Rooms every week. I've seen an hour-long special, "making-of" type show, in which they go to Laurence's house, which by the way was a huge mess, and mention in passing his wife and kids - ! I was sure he was gay. But no. So, feel free to dream, Bonnie.

The men in my life all like Charlie from Ground Force, for obvious reasons. Can they actually show nipples on American tv now? (I live in Australia)
